New Patients

New patients are always welcome at Heaton Dental Clinic, however due to high demands and covid restriction’s we don’t have any availability until the new year. We offer a calm and relaxed atmosphere for our patients and dental care that is underpinned by the highest professional training and standards, as well as extensive experience that gives you the reassurance of knowing that your care is in safe hands.

Creating beautiful smiles

We offer a full range of specialist dental services, including dental implants, orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics and more. Our aim is to create beautiful smiles using the most natural and suitable treatments.

We ask patients

We always ask that you make every effort to attend your appointment and that you arrive on time, as this enables us to provide a reliable service to our other patients. If you are unable to attend an appointment for any reason, please phone us on 0191 265 5467 to let us know with at least 24 hours’ notice. For appointments longer than 60 minutes we request that you give us as much notice as possible, preferably 48 hours.

Non-attendance and cancellations at short notice without a valid reason deprives other patients of essential medical
services. Please be aware that hygienist missed appointments will be charged £52.50 per 20 minutes. New patients if they fail to attend will not be offered another appointment.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please let us know as we pride ourselves on our high standards of care. In the first instance, a complaint should be made to the Practice Manager by calling 0191 265 5467.

Medical conditions and oral health

When you attend Heaton Dental Clinic as a new patient, we will arrange an initial appointment to check your general oral health and to find out about any medical conditions you may have. You will be asked to complete a short form when you arrive at the practice. We will talk to you further to build a good overview of your dental history and to understand any concerns or specific dental problems you may have.

Parking and access

Free patient parking is available at the side of the practice on Farnley Road and other local roads. Please be aware that the school behind us make it very busy (especially around 8.45am and 3pm).
